I loved Jung-Hoo's relationship with Ahjumma a lot they were just a great team! And if you are still wondering if you should watch it, yes I would definitely recommend you so. There's a lot of similarities in the main casts between Faith and Healer too. Now i dont think i can find another drama that can replace Healer from my head. I cannot find the right words to express my joy for this drama. MLTS’s eternal love is keeping sounding in my ears. I still can't get over with it & I don't know how much long it will take. A good drama although not the best.very good things about this drama are the acting of almost all the casts is good, Park min young done a fabulous job with all emotions nicely potrayed, story ending is not very complete and lots of things been left out..
I loved the character dynamics and their relationship with one another is top notch. The series Watcher , is from the screenplay over the stunning main cast and even some characters which grew only over time, the best series I have ever watched. This series has what many other series lack, it has a passion behind it to make it perfect and it worked. I will try to figure out a way to set my hands on a DVD copy, just for showing my appreciation to that amazing work. Still I like Ji-Na's story, The lines used in comedy and in intimacy are just right to tickle me and warm the heart respectively. The music, all the cast, directing, story line, all of them make this drama become the best. Some dramas that said to be above Healer in rating, look at the comments in asianwiki! But Healer, only after a couple weeks since it has been dropped, the comments in asianwiki reached 800!! Young Shin's character is the strongest female character I saw after years in Kdrama, PMY did it so well. And of cause Healer has the best hugs & kisses, JCW is a great hugger but for kisses I think Min Young is the best.
What I am most disappointed at, is they let the viewers imagine what will happen to the villains (as quoted by @Joyce below). For instance, we know that the Elder was taken, but didn't exactly elaborate how or show a strong scene that make it justify for all the wrongs he's done. Or at least an epilogue :( @kaya make some research first, the actress with lee min ho in the City Hunter that you were talking about which you just called pathetic is none other than Park Min Young unnie~, reading your comment was just so akward to the point I even laughed sorry but be sure to be careful next time and let us keep on supporting park min young unnie ♡♡♡. Much, much better than City Hunter an the chemistry between Park Min-Young and Ji Chang Wook is awesome. I'm not fond of commenting, giving feedback or recommending such Kdramas until I watched Healer. For the ending, the writer seem to wanted to show everything and sometimes I didn't have enough time to absorb the sentiment of the scenes(Not sure if that made sense). Its definitely a drama thats wortk re-watching over and over again.... I love this drama so much and my most favorite now after the The Moon that Embraces the Sun".... It has social relevence anda great moral story:no matter how darkk your world is, you must really fight that darkness in order to always see that bright sunlight.... I now understand why the comments here say that this drama is perfect. actually i dont like PMY, but i have to admit, she acts very well and this is my first time to watch JCW's drama. and worthy favored by many people because it is a great drama I highly recommend this daebak drama.. I would have preferred a different actress, I mean she already played a somewhat similar role in a similar drama City Hunter. When i read the synopsis, I didn't feel like watching, but I gave it a try and daannnggg. I definitely ship PMY&JCW) Couldn't stop fangirling and replayed the romantic/cute parts, If you know what i mean;) There were so many funny scenes, especially with the father, ex-convict, and ajumma. I felt like it was a bit rushed, what happened to the "elder"? I thought I was only one thinking the rating in Korea is insane. I've seen so many Korean dramas, and I can honestly say that what Jeong Hoo and Yeong Shin have together is the best, most ideal romantic relationship possible out there.
I could tell Moon Sik had gone insane from the hints they gave, but to me it wasn't super obvious for everyone to notice, as well I felt it was just a lazy way to finish off his part in the story. I didn't like the actress playing in City Hunter with Lee Min Ho. I bought this a long time ago but I didn't because I thought it's kinda boring. I'm sure another episode would work as an epilogue. I love the chemistry of Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young.. There will always be a rainbow no matter how many storms comes.... ) This is by far, one of the best kdramas I've watched, and the only drama that i actuallly watched w/out skipping scenes. 10/10 :) Love this drama, not only because its my favorite genre but also because PMY and JCW have great chemistry and superb acting! JCW is now on my top list of fave kpop star followed by Kim so hyun and Lee Minho. Though lot of people commented this is part 2 of "City Hunter" which i disagreed to it. OMG this drama is so cool good sweet fantastic wonderful amazing. But i also want to say that Jung Hoo's father is so handsome esp. They understand each other, care for each other, aren't afraid of showing their love, and most of all, they trust each other wholeheartedly.
I'm also still curious about Jung Hoo's relationship with his mother, I know he ended the relation, but I still can't believe he'd end something just like that either. Ride the roller coaster of America and am sure this will wake you up.... This may not be the best Korean drama ever played on TV but mind you it's one hell of excitement (I've watched it so many times) and the romance..story..will make you feel what love ( for anybody on that matter) can make to a person... Yes its my First time to be "obsessed with kdrama", and i just bought the director's cut too.... The bts, and there's even more unaired scenes thats why i bought the dvd for this.... I experienced new things which I've never done with the past dramas I've watched before. I love this drama so much I give it Ten Stars Rating. After watching the whole episodes, I found myself watching it over and over again. Ji chang wook is a really talented man i love him to moon and back. Their fashion, music-- i wish its already out in i-tunes, even the celphone ringtones!! Ji Chang Wook is good in choosing his project role. It's free to disagree with my comment but in terms of drama for me Kim Moon ho doesn't fit on my standard : D . Directors just get Yoo Ji-Tae as Kim moon ho because He resembles as Park Sang-Won as Kim moon sik . This is the first time I've watched a korean drama and had absolutely NO complaints about anything (acting, plot, cast, etc) the only thing I would've liked is that they showed us what happened to the Elder and Kim Moon Shik and all, Youngshin and her mom together, and of course Junghoo and Youngshin after everything that's happened BUUT that isn't the director's fault because apparently the ratings in SK were bad which I really don't get though like ???? And let's not forgot the OST and everyone's backstories. For example, we never really see all of the Elder and Kim Moon Shik's bad deeds being exposed. In one side, they have this great ideas, but they stuck with the rating isues. But i love Healer even more because of its sense of humour make this drama keep me watched it till the end. Because of the lack of time, they were not able to film them, so it was a bit rushed.
There's many aspects of the story that seem to still be open to me. :") I had lots of high expectations for this drama since it had such high ratings, and while there were a lot of good moments here and there, as well as really good characters and interesting plots, I felt there were many aspects missing. Not to spoil anything for anyone but while in the beginning there were many interesting scenes that got audience's attention, as the show progressed the meaning of these scenes seemed to be forgotten. I even bought a director's cut dvd which is my first time and is very very expensive but it's all worth it. Ji chang wook/healer is soo wonderfully awesome in here. Healer is the part 2 of "Sandglass" or "Hourglass" series that was a huge hit in the 1990's. I've seen PMY in many other roles and I can tell how much she's matured as an actress. I just can't get enough of JI Chang Wook's handsome face. JCW is the most sexiest hottest man in Korea ever so far. If you've seen City Hunter and loved it, this is going to bring back them feels~. Now, it's been nearly 20 hours since I finished it and I'm so gutted that I have nothing to look forward to now. Watch him in Healer and he will make u melt with his hotness. Apart after Empree Ki drama, this is another his recognition successful acting as Seo Junh Hoo. : D This Drama is not fully appreciated by Koreans because of it's Bad rating. Before i start watching this drama , i read all the comments on every page about this drama . Too good lmao it's taking me a long time to move on. This is an Action Drama, Romance, Comedy, packed all in one. The main lead actor and actress did a good job, they are nice to look at, both very passionate with their love, so much in love with each other, very real, very sincere! Moreover, I demand a second season, because I'd love to see my dream team H4 fight those who are behind the Elder. I've never watched Ji Chang Wook before, I skipped Empress Ki because it's too long for my preference. there is no words to describe how wonderful is #Healer . And, just like Cheon Song Yi have said in one scene, the audiences today are really mean sometimes. If you guys are able to read the Q&A with writer Song Ji Na, she explained some of the unfilled scenes.
